The six states that make up New England are; Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. They are known for historic small towns, lush mountains, seaside hamlets and rich arts and culture scenes. While it's difficult to predict the season's 'peak', September and October are widely considered to be the best times to visit New England in the fall. Autumn falls across New England like a bright patchwork quilt, the cooler weather painting the landscape in broad strokes of scarlet, gold and orange. Locals break out their wool sweaters as the air turns crisp and the summer-blue sky deepens into cobalt.
Boston - Walk the city’s brick-lined Freedom Trail to see landmarks that teleport you back to the Revolutionary War. Every neighbourhood has its own vibe that’s worth getting to know. Spend an afternoon in the North End, taste-testing cannoli from Italian-American bakeries. Or people-watch from a bench in Boston Common, which locals treat as an extension of their living room.
Stowe is home to breath-taking scenic views, world-class recreation, unique cultural experiences, and local signature flavors at the foot of Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak. Downtown boasts well-preserved historic buildings which wrap around the base of Mount Mansfield. From there, Mountain Road is six miles of boutique shopping, local dining, and attractions, which can also be accessed from the five-mile paved recreation path. The stunning, dramatic Smugglers Notch frames the town and the road winds over the notch from Stowe to Cambridge.
Kancamangus Scenic Highway is a 34.5 mile scenic drive along North Hampshire's Rte 112 that is well known as one of the best Fall Foliage viewing areas in the country. The Kancamagus Highway is now designated an American Scenic Byway for its rich history, aesthetic beauty and culture. Every year, rain or shine thousand's of visitors drive the Kancamagus Highway just to get a glimpse of the brilliant coloured Fall Foliage.

Its landscape is marked by woodland, rocky beaches and glacier-scoured granite peaks such as Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the United States’ East Coast. Among the wildlife are moose, bear, whales and seabirds.
Freeport is located on the shores of Casco Bay. Ther historic village is world-famous for its outdoor outfitters, shopping outlets, and local boutiques. Iconic Maine restaurants are proud to serve the freshest local fare, and the craft brewery scene is hopping. Inspiring galleries, festivals & events make Freeport the perfect destination for all seasons.
Cape Cod is strewn with quaint harbours, windswept beaches, glorious dunes and romantic lighthouses. Explore Cape Cod National Seashore, bike past cranberry bogs on the Rail Trail or saunter around Sandwich, the Cape's oldest town. Many areas are full of architectural and culinary gems - weathered shingles, whaling captains' mansions, chowder shacks and upmarket dining delights.
