This amazing tour begins in Eastern Canada where you'll enjoy stops in Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Quebec City and the 1000 Islands National Park. The journey then heads west from Toronto to Edmonton on the Trans-Canadian Railway including accommodation in a 2 berth sleeper compartment. You'll then spend 2 nights in Edmonton before heading in to the Rocky Mountains with stops in Calgary, Banff, Jasper, Kamloops, Vancouver and Victoria Island before a final night in Sechelt before your flight back to the UK.

Toronto is located on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, just 40 miles from Niagara Falls. There are 37 National Historic Sites in Toronto, some of the most famous include Union Station, Fort York, Gooderham and Worts Distillery - Distillery Historic District, Kensington Market, and Spadina House. The CN Tower is the tallest structure in the Western Hemisphere, standing at 1815 feet tall.
Niagara Falls - The falls consist of the Horseshoe Falls (the largest), American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Located on the Niagara River, it is a major natural wonder and one of Canada's most popular tourist destination known for its immense power and beauty, generating millions of gallons of water per minute and providing a source of hydroelectric power.
Ottawa is Canada’s capital, in the east of southern Ontario, near the city of Montréal and the U.S. border. Sitting on the Ottawa River, it has at its centre Parliament Hill, with grand Victorian architecture and museums such as the National Gallery of Canada, with noted collections of indigenous and other Canadian art. The park-lined Rideau Canal is filled with boats in summer.
Montreal is the largest city in Canada's Québec province. It’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Its boroughs, many of which were once independent cities, include neighbourhoods ranging from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal – with the Gothic Revival Notre-Dame Basilica at its centre – to bohemian Plateau.
Quebec City sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada's mostly French-speaking Québec province. Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadel of Québec. The Petit Champlain district’s cobblestone streets are lined with bistros and boutiques.
1000 Island National Park is a sightseer’s paradise and a popular destination for those looking for an authentic outdoor experience. Located along the border between northern New York State (USA) and south-eastern Ontario (Canada), the 1000 Islands is a region of endless shorelines, rich history and unique culture.

Edmonton is is the fifth largest city in Canada and the capital city of the Canadian province of Alberta. It is situated on the North Saskatchewan River and is the centre of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. It is also famous for attractions like West Edmonton Mall, the Royal Alberta Museum, Fort Edmonton Park, and the ICE District, which includes Rogers Place.
Calgary is a cosmopolitan city with numerous skyscrapers and owes its rapid growth to its status as the centre of Canada’s oil industry. However, it’s still steeped in the western culture that earned it the nickname “Cowtown,” evident in the Calgary Stampede, known as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth," this annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival is one of Calgary's most famous events.
Banff is the gateway to the Rockies and is known for its stunning natural beauty, including majestic mountains, turquoise lakes, and glaciers, making it a popular destination for outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and wildlife viewing. It is also home to Canada's first national park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers visitors a blend of adventure and the charming atmosphere of its mountain towns.
Jasper National Park is Canada's largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, located in western Alberta. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its vast wilderness, rugged mountains, glaciers, and abundant wildlife like bears, elk, and moose. Visitors can enjoy activities year-round, including hiking, scenic drives, and wildlife viewing, with highlights like the Columbia Icefield and Maligne Lake.
Kamloops is where the North and South Thompson rivers meet. Sun Peaks Resort’s hiking trails, bike park and numerous ski runs lie to the northeast. Cougars and bears inhabit the British Columbia Wildlife Park east of town.
Victoria Island is nestled on the southern end of Vancouver Island, Victoria is known for its vibrant arts scene, stunning gardens, historic architecture and an outdoor lifestyle that takes full advantage of its scenic backdrop. The romantic waterfront city of Victoria is the vacation capital of Canada, basking in the mildest climate in Canada. Attractions include; Butchart Gardens, Royal BC Museum, Craigdarroch Castle and Orca Whale Watching Tours.
Weather in Eastern Canada - June is a great time to visit Canada, offering long, warm days with plenty of sunshine for outdoor activities and a full schedule of events and festivals.
Weather in Western Canada generally experiences mild to warm temperatures in June & July, with longer days, though mountain regions can be cooler and wetter. Mountain areas like Banff have wider temperature swings, with daytime highs reaching up to 23° but night-time lows dropping to 5°.
