Francorchamps
The Ardennes track at Spa Francorchamps is now established in classic motor racing and the Spa Classic event is now the undisputed classic car event in Belgium. Throughout the weekend the paddocks are open to the public and car club collections will create an inspiring museum of motoring history on the infield of the track.
Spa Classic will once again feature sports cars, single-seaters, GTs and touring cars filling the grids over the weekend. Besides the two Classic Endurance racing grids there is also Group C Racing, Sixties’ Endurance, the Trofeo Nastro Rossa and historic Formula 2. Besides all the racing action over the weekend, another highlight will be the auction, run by Bonhams, at the track on Saturday.
This superb event allows you the opportunity to watch the days’ racing from a variety of grandstands and to explore the paddocks. You can even make your way through the woods to the far side of the track to enjoy the racing from the high banks at Pouhon, Blanchimont or Fagnes.
Situated in the beautiful Ardennes region the Spa-Francorchamps track was originally designed in 1920 by Jules de Their and Henri Langlois Van Ophem using public roads between the Belgian towns of Spa, Malmedy and Stavelo to form a thrilling circuit. Due to how dangerous the circuit was and a number of fatalities; it was redeveloped in 1979 to make it safer, but still as thrilling.

PRE-BOOK YOUR TRACK LAPS
Drive your own car around this legendary circuit. There are two 25 minute sessions per day (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) including a “beginner” session and “skilled” session. The “beginner” session is ideal for those wishing to discover the track at moderate speed while the “skilled” session is perfect for those who wish to drive a little faster. A pace car will be in operation for both "beginner" or "skilled" sessions. These are not competitive laps and you will take your car on the circuit at your own risk. Please note: Only certain classic and sports cars as well as all pre-1966 cars are eligible for track laps and they must either have a roll cage or hard roof. Helmets are mandatory for all passengers in all vehicles.
