An amazing 11 day tour to Italy to see the Mille Miglia, “The Greatest Car Race in the World”. This thousand-mile rally around Italy is the quintessential race in a country that can rightly claim the greatest passion for the motorcar. Italy is home to the greats: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani and Maserati.
The Mille Miglia is now a four-day event divided into several stages. Only the cars selected from the models which took part in the original race can participate in the Mille Miglia, with teams coming from all over the world. On Thursday afternoon the cars leave Brescia, the heart of the Mille Miglia and arrive in Padova for the first overnight stay. The next morning, they leave for Rome, passing San Marino and L'Aquila on the way. On Saturday, they depart for Bologna, where they stay overnight before embarking on the last stretch to Brescia on Sunday morning, where they will be enthusiastically welcomed home for the prize giving celebrations. In addition to the activities connected with the Mille Miglia, you'll experience some great drives, see some amazing sights and enjoy some wonderful Italian food.
Lake Garda is the jewel of the Italian Lakes and Italy’s largest body of water. Its shoreline is more than twice the length of the Amalfi Coast, and it’s still possible to find untouched towns and villages among the glossy resorts.
Tuscany's sublime countryside is the perfect destination for a driving holiday far away from the crowds, yet within easy reach of two of Italy's most popular cities, Florence and Pisa.
