A wonderful tour of the South West 500 through two of England's most popular counties, Devon and Cornwall. Cornwall with its granite cliffs, picture postcard harbours, and wide sandy beaches has been a holiday favourite for generations. Cornwall also has a rich cultural heritage and this has left an indelible mark on the landscape. From ancient stones to the ghosts of the mining industry, there are constant reminders you are in a special part of the country. Cornwall's beaches are unrivalled elsewhere in Britain for their beauty, variety and never-ending stretches of golden sands and are often framed by picturesque coastal towns, of which Newquay is the most renowned. Also dotted along the spectacular coastline are enchanting fishing villages and harbours such as Looe, Port Isaac, Portreath and Mousehole.
