The South Coast 250 boasts many iconic locations like Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton Chichester, Portsmouth and the New Forest. Our tour starts in Kent where the rolling green hills and beautiful scenery blend in with its abundance of historic buildings and numerous attractions, then takes you along the south coast via Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton and Portsmouth to the New Forest.
Kent is truly the “Garden of England”, with breathtaking countryside, stunning coastline and world-famous attractions including: The White Cliffs of Dover, Leeds Castle, Hever Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and The Historic Dockyard at Chatham.

Hastings is one of England’s favourite seaside towns and is set between hills which run down to the sea. Hastings is a mix of both the modern, with its three mile seafront offering fun fair rides and numerous arcades, and historical; with its connections to England’s most famous battle: 1066.

Eastbourne offers something for everyone; whether it be its iconic Victorian pier or a stroll along its three mile long promenade which sits alongside the famous Carpet Gardens or the chance to explore the area’s outstanding coastline. Known as being part of the “Sunshine Coast” the bright summer sun will certainly compliment famous landmarks such as Beachy Head or the majestic Seven Sisters.

Brighton is both bustling and Bohemian in nature with its iconic pier stretching out into the sea. It offers a mix of a traditional British seaside experience with the quirky Brighton Lanes offering everything from unique shops to live jazz.

Portsmouth boasts a seafaring legacy and the Historic Dockyard is home to the world-famous historic ships HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the remains of Henry VIII’s favourite ship, the Mary Rose. It is also a contemporary waterfront city which caters for all tastes and interests.

The New Forest boasts a wealth of places to visit from award winning gardens, museums, great drives and so much, much more. A must for car lovers is Beaulieu House and Motor Museum, a home to a stunning collection of automobiles telling the history of motoring.
