In the Black Forest you will be treated to quaint half-timbered buildings to admire as they nestle in delightful historic towns and villages. There are also dramatic gorges carved by the River Rhine, plus of course those magnificent cuckoo clocks and the famous Black Forest Gateau.  ​

Schwarzwaldhochstrasse is the ultimate driving road of the Black Forest region and no visit would be complete without a drive on it.  At about 900 m, the 70 km stretch of the B500 road runs along the ridges of a low mountain range. Along the way, you will be treated to dramatic peaks and spectacular ravines.

At the Auto Technic Museum, Sinsheim, you can see two fully accessible supersonic jets (Concorde and Tupolev TU-144), hundreds of classic cars and motorcycles, huge steam engines, a military history exhibition, and much more.

The Technic Museum Speyer offers vehicle enthusiasts the ultimate engine experience. You can look around inside an original jumbo jet, a submarine and a sea rescue cruiser. You can also enjoy the largest space flight exhibition in Europe amongst many other things.

At the Porsche Museum, journey back through the history of Porsche in one of the world's most spectacular car museums whilst at the Mercedes-Benz Factory you can enjoy a tour of the largest plant in the world and get a fascinating insight to the product of this iconic brand.
