1 - I am staying 2 nights, do I have to book Sunday entry?

No, but you can only book the lunches if you have a cinema booking as we have to give priority on the lunches to those booking the cinema. Nearer the time we may open lunches up to those without a cinema booking, but this can’t be guaranteed. Also, anyone attempting to watch the film ‘on foot’ from the grounds will be disappointed, as the audio will only play through the car stereo/or with an external device provided by the cinema company & can only be obtained with a valid pre-paid ticket. So, if you are onsite on Sunday already and want to watch the film, our advise is to book the Sunday entry/Cinema to avoid disappointment!

 

2 - Can I pre-book lunch without cinema entry?

No, please refer to point 1, above.

 

3 - Can I book lunch direct with the hotel?

No, the hotel is only accepting lunch pre-bookings via Scenic Car Tours in order to manage numbers. You will not be able to pre-book lunch directly or book lunch on the day.

 

4 - So if I don’t book Sunday, I just have to go home?

No. You can stay onsite but your car will only be permitted into the cinema area with a valid ticket. As stated above, anyone attempting to watch the film ‘on foot’ from the grounds will be disappointed, as the audio will only play through the car stereo/or with an external device provided by the cinema company & can only be obtained with a valid pre-paid ticket

 

5 - Will there be trade stands on Saturday or Sunday?

No. However, there will be motorsport activities on Saturday (see Morgan magazine for details), as well as the Morgan Display & entry to the museum on Saturday. The Sunday is the cinema & picnic onsite at the hotel, again with no trade stands.

 

6 - What is the film?

MSCC will be sending out details on how you can vote for your chosen film in the March edition of Morgan Miscellany – MSCC will be running this poll and not us, please keep an eye out for the latest magazine for details.

 

7 - Can I bring my dog?

No, it has been decided that dogs will not be allowed at the event, unless you have a guide/care/assistance dog.

 

8 - Can I bring a non-Morgan?

Yes, but you will need to be a member of the MSCC. Your car will be parked away from the Morgan display and on the Saturday and the Sunday.

9 - When will I get my Gaydon Tickets?

Tickets will NOT be sent out in advance and should be collected from our representative at Walton Hall hotel reception on Friday. If this is not suitable, please contact us to make alternative arrangements.

10 - How do I book the AutoSolo, Concours or Morgan Plus Four Experience Drives

11 - Where will I collect my pre-booked Rally Pates

RALLY PLATES can be collected from our staff during the check-in at the hotel on Friday, at the Museum on Saturday or at the Walton Hall Picnic + Drive-in Cinema on Sunday. Rally plates are NOT included & can only be pre-booked at £8.95 by phoning us on 01732 879153 to add this to your booking in advance. Rally plates WILL NOT be for sale during the event, we will only provide enough rally plates to fulfil the pre-bookings in advance.

12 - What is the Dress Code for the Annual Dinner Dance

The dress code is: Smart/Casual with 50’s style dress optional to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the club
