Enjoy a wonderful tour to the Scottish Highlands including the Orkneys and the Shetlands!

According to many, the seas and islands of Scotland are some of the most beautiful areas in Europe. Many who are well travelled still state there are few parts of the world which possess such magic, mystery and raw natural beauty.

The Orkney Islands are a group of 70 islands and skerries situated 6.2 miles from the north-east tip of Scotland. Be sure to visit the mystical ancient settlement of Skara Brae, uncovered by a storm in 1850. This ancient settlement is older than Stonehenge and the amazingly preserved rooms provide us with a unique insight into prehistoric human living.

The Shetland Islands will charm you with the rugged beauty of the landscape. Its dramatically changing colours and textures will take your breath away. Shetland’s natural sights are world-class. Ornithologists travel from all over the world to catch a glimpse of Scotland’s rare birds. You may even spot seals, otters, porpoises, and whales. Shetland also has some unique species, like the Shetland wren and the wonderful miniature Shetland ponies.
