We would like to think that we offer an unequalled selection of good quality driving tours at good value for money prices and we genuinely do try to do everything we can to ensure you have a great holiday or short break with us. But then don't take our word for it, read what some of our clients have to say about the tours they have taken with us.
Obviously we do not have any control over the minimum number of cars that may book on to our tours, however as a guide we would hope to have between 5 and 15 cars per tour. In the case of event led tours, i.e. Laon Historique, Spa Classic etc the number of cars participating can increase significantly.
We would only cancel the tour as a last resort and in most cases as long as the hotel is happy to honour our booking with them, the tour would go ahead as planned.
We do have a range of Escorted Tours (Click here), however in most cases our tours are un-escorted, however you will receive a 'detailed road book' featuring Maps, Suggested routes, Great drives, Attractions and Points of interest along the way, plus Addresses and GPS co-ordinates wherever possible - Please see How Our Tours Work
No, our tours are designed for the 'driving enthusiast' so you can bring any marque along, however due to the media in which we advertise the majority of cars that book with us are Classic, Modern Classic and Sports Cars.
When travelling in Europe, it’s important to be aware of local driving rules and regulations. Many countries—including Germany, Italy, Denmark, the Czech Republic, France, Spain and Portugal—have introduced low emission zones in towns and cities.
The UK has also introduced clean air zones in certain cities, details can be found here https://www.gov.uk/browse/driving/clean-air-zones-emissions-electric-vehicles
Low emission zones are designated areas where higher-polluting vehicles are restricted. In most cases, vehicles with higher emissions are not permitted to enter. In some zones, these vehicles may still enter but must pay a fee or register in advance.
The easiest way to stay informed about emission zones across Europe is to visit www.green-zones.eu or download the Green Zones App. Here you will be able to find information for each country and purchase the required permits/stickers.
Another recommended site by the RAC for European Low Emission Zones information is https://urbanaccessregulations.eu
ETIAS is the new travel authorisation for visa-exempt travellers to enter 30 European countries. For more information before your travel visit European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) - ETIAS
We will wherever possible help you to book just the sector(s) of the tour that you may require.
Yes you can change any of these details and in the majority of cases these changes will not incur any charges. Some carriers i.e, Brittany Ferries, IOM Steam Packet Company levy an amendment fee and in this instance you will be liable for such charges. In the case of 'flight-tours', once we have booked and confirmed your flight, all changes will incur a charge and these will vary dependent on the individual airline policy.
In most cases, European hotels do allow dogs, unfortunately unlike their European counterparts, most UK hotel do not accept dogs. In both cases we would need to check with the hotels on each tour before confirming your reservation. Dogs will require a pet passport to travel on the Ferries or Eurotunnel. If confirmed, charges will apply.
Your final travel documents will be sent out approximately 14 days prior to departure. Please note: our road books are wrap-packaged and will not fit through a normal letter-box so if there is no one at home to receive the package you should look out for a failed-delivery note from the Post Office.
We have a dedicated groups department who can help you to arrange your tour - see our Club/Group Tour section for details.
