Ferry Crossings
Tours to Europe (excluding Spain and Sardinia)
Unless otherwise specified, your tour includes a return P&O Ferries Dover–Calais crossing valid for tours of up to 5 days (or the full duration of tours lasting longer than 5 days). If your tour is under 5 days and you wish to travel earlier or return later, a supplement of £25 per vehicle will apply.
Please note that this supplement applies to off-peak sailings only. If your amended sailing falls on a peak date, an additional peak surcharge may be applicable.
However, we recognise that this may not be the most convenient option for everyone, so we offer the flexibility to upgrade or amend your crossing to better suit your travel plans.
As the UK's leading tour operator for driving enthusiasts, we have excellent relationships and preferential rates with all major ferry operators, including P&O Ferries, LeShuttle, DFDS, Irish Ferries, Brittany Ferries, and Stena Line.
Amend to LeShuttle
You may amend your included P&O crossing to a standard LeShuttle return crossing at the following rates.

Laon Historique Event – May 2027
The above LeShuttle upgrade prices do not apply to tours attending the Laon Historique event. The following rates apply:

Alternative Ferry Routes
If you prefer to arrange your own Dover–Calais crossing, we will deduct £100 per vehicle from your final balance.
Should you wish to travel via an alternative ferry route or operator, such as DFDS, Brittany Ferries, Irish Ferries or Stena Line, please contact us for a personalised quotation based on current ferry prices.
Optional Ferry Upgrades
Cabins, reserved seating, Club Lounge access, Premium Lounge access and other ferry upgrades can be added to your booking. Please contact us for a quotation based on the operator's current pricing.
Tours to Spain and/or Sardinia
Unless otherwise stated, our tours to Spain and Sardinia do not travel via France. Instead, they generally include ferry crossings from Portsmouth or Plymouth to Bilbao or Santander.
Your tour confirmation will specify the included ferry operator, route, sailing date and departure time. If you would like this information before booking, please contact our team.
Should you wish to travel on a different sailing, date, time or route, we will be happy to provide a quotation based on current ferry prices.
Optional ferry upgrades, including cabins, reserved seating and Club or Premium Lounge access, are also available on request at additional cost.
Tours to Ireland
We offer a wide choice of ferry routes to Ireland, giving you the flexibility to travel from the port most convenient to you.
Each tour includes a specified ferry crossing, which will be shown on the individual tour page and confirmed in your booking documentation.
We work closely with Stena Line and Irish Ferries, enabling us to offer competitive rates on a variety of routes between the UK and Ireland.
If you would prefer a different sailing date then the included crossing (tour dependent), departure time or route, please contact us for a quotation based on current fares.
Optional ferry upgrades, including cabins, reserved seating and Club or Premium Lounge access, are also available on request at additional cost.
Tours to the Channel Islands
Our Channel Islands tours include a return ferry crossing from Poole for both your vehicle and passengers. If you prefer to travel via St Malo, we can arrange this on a request basis.
A range of optional upgrades is available, including cabins (where applicable), reserved seating and Club or Premium Lounge access.
