From beaches to mountains this tour encompasses Cantabria, Asturias and the Pyrenees, a treasure trove of landscapes full of winding roads, great cities, untouched villages and superb local fare.
The Picos de Europa on the borders of Asturias, Cantabria, and Castilla y León, is probably the most stunning National Park in Spain, or even Europe. The contrasts within these 300 square miles of spectacular natural beauty, that link Cantabria and Asturias, are amazing. Deep gorges that plunge vertically down into deep river valleys, sparkling lakes and magical forests make this an adventure playground just begging to be explored.
The Pyrenees separates the Iberian Peninsula from the rest of Europe, stretching more than 430km between Spain and France and rising higher than 3400m in elevation. The Pyrenees offers a gorgeous landscape of high mountains, green valleys, dramatic gorges, pristine lakes, and rushing waterfalls.
Andorra is nestled on the border between France and Spain. Andorra is a tiny country made up of rugged mountains, steep valleys and beautiful lakes and is Europe’s sixth smallest country covering an area of just 468 square kilometres, with a population of just over 85,000.
