The famous Gordon Bennett Route was raced by the world’s greatest daredevils at record-breaking speeds in 1903. Now you can follow in their footsteps taking in the scenery along the way!
The event is based in the midland County of Laois in Ireland and includes drives into the scenic Counties of Carlow and Kildare, all of which were chosen for the original 1903 race. This historic route takes in an array of interesting and scenic locations in the region, whilst celebrating and discovering “The Race that saved Motor Sport”.
ENTRY CRITERIA
To maintain the integrity of the event, vehicles must be 30 years old or older to qualify for entrance to the Gordon Bennett event. Entry is at the committee’s discretion.
