Zaanse Schans Folk Park encapsulates the essence of the Netherlands, showcasing traditional crafts and architecture. With six windmills, a wooden shoe workshop, cheese farm, and more, it’s a snapshot of Dutch culture.
Volendam stands as a timeless treasure in Holland, retaining its charm for over six centuries as a quintessential fishing village. Its quaint houses, canals, and drawbridges create picturesque scenes exuding tranquillity and romance.
The Louwman Car Museum, located in The Hague, showcases Evert Louwman’s extensive private collection of over 230 historic cars, alongside the world’s largest collection of automotive art.
Keukenhof Gardens,** situated in the town of Lisse, Keukenhof Gardens is one of the world’s largest and most beautiful spring gardens. With over 7 million spring-flowering bulbs planted annually, including 800 tulip varieties, it is a breath-taking sight for visitors from March to May.
The Flower Route,** spanning from Haarlem to Leiden, covers approximately 25 miles of vibrant flower fields. Tulips, hyacinths, narcissi, and daffodils create colourful ribbons stretching as far as the eye can see, making it a must-see attraction on spring departures until mid-May.
