Weekend in Bruges

The Rodenbach Rally (previously known as the Belgian Classic Car weekend) starts in Bruges, where you will be joined by Belgian car enthusiasts before embarking on the organised countryside run with a lunch stop, before concluding back in Bruges later in the afternoon.

Bruges, also known as Brugge in Flemish, emerges as arguably one of the most captivating cities, at any time of year. Its quaint medieval dwellings with stepped roofs and grand churches mirrored in the tranquil canal waters create a surreal ambiance. Nestled within a ring of canals, the historical centre is compact, making it easy to stroll through its labyrinthine streets and bustling market squares. Often dubbed the “Venice of the North,” Bruges stands as a meticulously preserved city and its entire historic core is designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Delights abound in this enchanting locale, from a diverse array of museums and churches to historical edifices, canals, and thoroughfares. Visitors can choose to explore these treasures by boat, on foot, or by horse and carriage, providing a wonderful experience of Bruges.

Belgium may be a small country but is big on culture. The country is a melting pot of European influences with the Dutch-speaking Flanders to the north, French-speaking Wallonia to the south and a German-speaking community to the east.

ENTRY CRITERIA FOR THE RODENBACH RALLY

• Only cars aged 30+ years are eligible to take part in the Rodenbach Tour

• Special permission may be granted to newer cars of special significance
