Combine a spectacular driving tour to the glistening French Riviera with a wonderful 8 day Corsican cruise. The French Riviera with its sprawl of golden beaches, turquoise seas and expensive houses has always captivated visitors and sun lovers alike. Departing from the French post of Nice, you'll discover Corsica from north to south with all meals and drinks included.
Make sure you don't miss the Côte d'Azur's world-famous points of interest; including St-Tropez, the glamour of Cannes, towns made famous by Picasso, Antibes, Vallauris, Mougins, plus the urban charms of Nice. This Riviera is also home to several locations, where per capita, the population of billionaires is amongst the highest on the planet namely Cap d'Antibes, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and, of course, the principality of Monaco.
On the outbound journey you'll experience the Millau Viaduct, a modern wonder to admire and to savour a drive along. It complements the dramatic landscape and its soaring thin slightly curved steel structure rest on seven seemly slender towers. Then on the return, your journey takes you via Route Napoleon, following the route taken by Napoleon in his 1815 escape from Elba to Grenoble.
Jutting from the foaming Mediterranean like an impregnable fortress, Corsica resembles a miniature continent, with astounding geographical diversity. Within half an hour's drive, the landscape ranges from glittering bays, vibrant coastal cities and fabulous beaches to sawtooth mountain ridges, verdant valleys, dense forests and time-forgotten hilltop villages. Corsica offers tremendously varying opportunities: from hiking and canyoning to snorkelling and sunbathing and sampling local delicacies.
