Brooklands was the home of the world's first purpose built motor racing circuit and one of Britain's first airfields. By 1918 it had become Britain's largest aircraft manufacturing centre, producing military aircraft such as the Wellington and civil airliners like the VC-10. It is also home to Mercedes-Benz World UK, where visitors can experience the performance of Mercedes high performance AMG range.
