DAY 12 (HB) - Lake Garda to San Valentino alla Muta via the Stelvio Pass - Breakfast followed by departure from Desenzano. Today your routing takes you along the western shore of the lake via Salo, Limone and Riva del Garda before making your way via Bormio to the Stelvio Pass at 2757m is one of the highest and most dramatic mountain passes in the Alps. DAY 1 (HB) – Dover to Nancy - Following a morning ferry crossing from Dover to Calais, our direct routing to Nancy takes you via Arras, Reims and Chalons-en-Champagne. We have enclosed details of some of the attractions that you can visit en-route, however with this being a ‘transit day’ you may choose to travel directly to the hotel. Arrival at the Novotel Nancy Ouest will, dependent on your route be late afternoon/early evening. DAY 2 (HB) - Nancy to Füssen - Breakfast followed by departure from Nancy. Your routing today takes you via Stuttgart, Ulm, Memmingen and Schwangau, the penultimate town on Germany's famous Romantic Road. Smaller than its bustling neighbour Füssen, Schwangau boasts however one of the most popular sights in the whole of Germany, Neuschwanstein Castle, so you might want to make an early start today so that you can visit the castle. Arrival in Füssen and the excellent Hotel am Hopfensee will be late afternoon/early evening. After check-in at the hotel the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure & Dinner is included - Mileage approx. 310 miles
DAY 3 (HB) – Füssen to Lake Bled - Departing Fussen and the hotel after breakfast today sees you passing through the spectacular scenery of Austria en route to Lake Bled in Slovenia. You'll have the choice of 2 routes, the first via Cheminsee, Bad Reichenhall, Bischofshofen, Gmund and Villach or the second via the Brenner pass, Bruneck, Lienz, Spittal an de Drau and Villach. Arrival in Lake Bled and the Golf Hotel will be late afternoon/early evening. After check-in at the hotel the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure & Dinner is included - Mileage approx. 270 miles
DAY 4 (HB) – The day at leisure on Lake Bled
Enjoy a wonderful day at Leisure at Lake Bled Lake Bled, famous for the island in the middle of the lake with its baroque church whose bell, when rung is said to make wishes come true. Other attractions include Bled Castle, or you can relax and take in the spectacular scenery. Dinner is included at the hotel.
DAY 5 (HB) - Bled to Rovinj - Breakfast followed by departure from Lake Bled. Today your journey takes you south through Slovenia with an optional stop at the Postojna Caves or at the Lipizzaner Stud Farm in Sežana before crossing the border into Croatia. Arrival in Rovinj and the Eden Hotel will be late afternoon/early evening. After check-in at the hotel the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure & Dinner is included - Mileage approx.125 miles

OR - Departing from the coast, the Istrian interior region offers a surprising variety of treasures. A short drive takes
you to Vodnjan, known for its mummified saints. Offshore is the rugged island of Cres, home to the gargantuan griffon vulture. Between Pula and Opatija lies the hilltop town of Labin where you can amble through a former coal mine or admire exquisite Venetian architecture. While the interior villages of Draguc and Hum have slowly experienced depopulation, the once-abandoned Groznjan has been reborn as a thriving arts colony. Even remote Motovun hosts an annual film festival within its medieval walls.
DAY 8 (BB) – The Day at Leisure in Rovinj
OR - Departing Rovinj and the hotel after breakfast, today you head eastwards across the Istrian peninsula to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. The national park was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register among the first natural sites worldwide.
DAY 9 (BB) – The Day at Leisure in Rovinj
OR - Enjoy a half day drive to Pula, nestled beneath seven hills on the southern tip of Croatia’s Istrian peninsula. Here modern bars, pavement cafés and boutiques sit happily among ancient Roman ruins, the 1st-century amphitheatre and the Temple of Augustus are top sights. As for beaches, the town is set to the side of the horseshoe-shaped Pula Bay, where calm turquoise water is hugged by a rugged terrain.About a kilometre south of Pula is the start of the Verudela Peninsula, where you’ll find 190 kilometres of mixed rocky, pebbly and shingle beaches. They shelve jaggedly into the crystal-clean Adriatic, and are backed by fragrant shady pine forest.
DAY 10 (BB) - Rovinj to Lake Garda - Breakfast followed by departure from Rovinj and the hotel. Your routing today takes you across the Croatian/Italian Border via Trieste, Palmanova, Padua and Verona en route to Desenzano del Garda. Again you might like to make an early start so that you can make a stop for a few hours in Venice or Verona, two of Italy's iconic destinations. Arrival at Lake Garda and the Benaco hotel will be late afternoon/early evening. After check-in at the hotel the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure - Mileage approx. 230 miles
DAY 11 (BB) - The full day at leisure on Lake Garda
OR - Enjoy a scenic drive around Lake Garda where you can explore some of the beautiful towns and attractions such as: Desenzano Sirmione, Bardolino, Malcesine, Riva del Garda, Limone, Gargnano and Tignale to mention just a few - Mileage approx. 95 miles
DAY 13 (HB) - San Valentino to Nancy - Departing the hotel after breakfast today see you retracing your steps back to Nancy and the Novotel hotel. Your routing today takes you via St Gallen, Zurich, Basel, Colmar and Luneville. Attractions en route include Lake Constance, The Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen, the Schlumpf Collection at Mulhouse, Colmar and the Parc Naturel de Ballons, however with a fairly long drive today you would need to set off early to have sufficient time to visit any of these attractions - Mileage approx. 355 miles
DAY 14 (BB) - Nancy to Calais - Breakfast followed by departure from Nancy and the hotel for the final journey back to Calais (other crossings available) for your return crossing back to the UK - Mileage approx. 320 miles
