TAKE A LOOK...

Lake Garda - Italy’s largest body of water is the jewel of the Italian Lakes, it’s shoreline is more than twice the length of the Amalfi Coast, and it’s still possible to find untouched towns and villages among the glossy resorts. Peschiera del Garda, a pretty waterfront town often compared to Venice for its network of canals. A little further north is Bardolino. Its elegant promenade is surrounded by miles of vineyards, and the lakefront path takes walkers as far as Garda, the lake’s namesake town. Further north is Malcesine, rising from the waterfront in a picturesque jumble, and at the lake’s northernmost point lies Riva del Garda, a cosmopolitan town with a pretty piazza and some great gelato parlours.

The Stelvio Pass

Stelvio Pass - At 2757m the Stelvio Pass is one of the highest and most dramatic mountain passes in the Alps. You’ll experience the drive down the famous switchbacks driving through the heart of the Stelvio National Park before starting the descent, taking you through some great stretches of alpine forest and fast sweeping roads prior to your arrival at the foot of the pass.

Lake Como is known for its beautiful landscape, romantic villas and the spectacular backdrop of the Grigna mountains. Menaggio, Tremezzo and Cadenabbia sit on the sunny western shore and have beautiful lakeside promenades, where you can enjoy an evening stroll and take in the dramatic views across the water. The unique resort of Bellagio is perched on the southern shore and enjoys breathtaking views across the lake from both sides of the town. Menaggio and Bellagio are large and lively, with café-filled piazzas and winding cobbled streets. Cadenabbia and Tremezzo are slightly quieter and make relaxed, peaceful bases for exploring the lake. Lake Como is surrounded by high mountains and dramatic cliffs, so it’s quite different from the other Italian lakes. Famous for its beautifully kept public gardens and historic villas, it's easy to see why so many celebrities love Lake Como.

Lake Lucerne - Encircled by mountains, Lake Lucerne is the lake with the greatest scenic variety in Switzerland, somewhat reminiscent of a fjord landscape, yet remains characterised by a mild lake climate. Boat cruises on board five historic paddle wheel steamers and 15 elegant salon motor vessels count among the highlights of this region. The small, but idyllic resort of Weggis lies at an altitude of 435 metres on the shore of Lake Lucerne offers tranquillity and relaxation in front of a beautiful lake and mountain panorama.
