We wanted to say how very much we enjoyed our holiday to Ireland despite the weather! Thank you very much for all the organization.  We could see that a lot of behind-the-scenes things had been done.  We couldn't really fault anything and were impressed with Scenic Car Tours for everything they sent to us. We hope to see you on a future Porsche event.  kind regards, Lyn and John  PCGB

Just a short note to say that we had a really great time on the Club's Irish holiday. Good company, great driving roads and typical Irish weather!

Regards Neville Walker  PCGB

Thank you, once again, for the fantastic Ice Driving tour you arranged for us. We all loved the hotel and thought the details SCT provided was very comprehensive. The Ice Driving itself was amazing and the tuition was brilliant! We are now looking forward to our trip to Tuscany in May !!

Colin Richards, Merc Manor

Our trip to Arras went very well for us and our friends, without problems. The Hotel du Golf was adequate and the service was very good, with free Wi-Fi and a nice buffet breakfast each morning. We were a little disappointed with the auto-jumble, with parts expensive and somewhat limited choice, compared with major UK auto-jumbles; many stands were geared to French classic cars, such as the Traction-avant and 2CV. However the town was pretty, with nice squares and many good restaurants. No problems whatsoever on the ferries. We enjoyed our break. Thanks and regards Jorge & Gillian de Silva

The Jubilee & Limited Edition MG B Car Club attended the Exposition d' Automobilies et Motos Anciennes car show in Arras, weekend of 16-18 March 2013. Scenic Car Tours organised all of our travel arrangements and our accommodation for our club, which met & fullfilled all of our expectations. Looking forward to booking with you again soon. Yours Sincerely, Jubilee & Limited Edition's MGB's (J.U.L.E)

We had a great weekend to Arras despite the cold.  The deal was fantastic value for money and I’m looking forward to going again next year.  Very many thanks to you all. David Biscoe JEC

We had a fantastic time thank you, the Hotel was very easy to get to & very well situated in regards to the trip to Essen for the Car Show & the Nurgurghring. The car show was outstanding with more cars than you could ever imagine, it really is a car enthusiasts haven & a must see. again easy to get to & park. The Nurgburgring was just fantastic for my husband who loves track days & an high speed driving, 4 laps is more than enough as it is quite tiring for the driver & the car! Also they don't check your car in any way you literally just go on, my husband was under the impression there are some basic safety checks done before your aloud to go on. We thought the whole trip was very good value for money & we would definitely go on another trip with Scenic, thank you very much. Kind Regards Sarah Wood

We've just returned from the Bruges & Brussels Classic Tour and would like to thank everyone at Scenic & Continental Car Tours for the professional way this event was organised.  My wife and I very much enjoyed this long weekend and I would especially like to mention the hard work that Eddy Lepez and his wife put into looking after us, they make the whole experience feel that much more personal.  It is a shame that this event is not supported by more British classic cars and their owners.

Regards, David Oxenbury

Thank you for organising our tour to the wonderful coast of Northern Ireland.  Your work with the weather was particularly impressive!  The booking process worked very well and your staff were very helpful. The pre-tour information was very useful. All in all we had a very pleasant holiday in a delightful country, enjoying magnificent scenery in fabulous weather. Peter Hills

I’ve finally got around to replying to your email to provide some feedback on our recent Lake Garda Tour.  We really enjoyed the trip and our Caterham 7 managed to get round albeit with the occasional awkward moment.  Best of all we were blessed with wonderful weather particularly for the alpine passes which were superb.

We thought the holiday was very good value for money.  Regards Rob Heathcock

Dear Bob, You kindly got us onto your Irish trip, 5 may last,  and what a terrific trip it was. We've spread the word re Ireland with you through our U3A and Classic Car clubs to much envy. We then booked for Sorrento in October. Three of us in the classic club are scratching heads re Moscow with you next year. Best regards

Brian & Jenny

Although I have submitted my survey in relation to the recent Loan Historique event, I simply wanted to say how much we had enjoyed it and to thank you for an excellent event. However grateful if you would endeavour to ensure better weather nrext year!!!! Iain J Morgan

Hi Bob and Katie, we returned late last night to Solihull after a really enjoyable trip to Bruges and Brussels. Had a great time, and Eddie looked after us well.

Thanks from all at the Sunbeam Alpine Owners Club. Best Regards  Roger and Amanda Ball.

Hi Bob, Just a note to say what a super tour this was. We brought along 6 Sunbeam Alpines and met a great mix of other classic car enthusiasts. A special mention to Eddy Lepez who gave us all the information we required and offered advice when we needed it. The tour was definitely enhanced by having a local event organiser and the little gift of Belgian biscuits and a chocolate on the coach journey was a nice touch. We have taken three tours with you before and hope to take more.

Yours sincerely Tony & Lynda Grey, Solent Alpine representatives

Sorry we will miss you at Goodwood as we will be travelling back from Giants Causeway Tour, via Scotland!! We've had a great trip, well organised, nice hotels etc.

Regards Richard & Margaret Powell

Dear Bob, Having just returned from our tour to the Causeway Coast I thought you would like to know that all the members of this tour appeared to be highly satisfied with the quality of the hotels, the excellent brochure and the itineraries it contained. I personally felt confident that I could contact Scenic Car Tours at any time and was particularly impressed by the cooperative response shown by Kieran throughout. Everyone seemed to agree that they had an excellent holiday and like us, would use and recommend SCT in future.  Best wishes, David Denson.

Dear Bob, Thanks for your email, I had intended to feedback to you upon our return to UK and now have the time/opportunity to do so. I have not opened the feedback form link as I prefer to do freestyle rather than format. Firstly I would like to say thanks for a well organised itinerary, timing was for us good, just right, allowing a leisurely breakfast, a steady drive with stops for comfort and coffee along the way and arriving at the overnight stops around 7.00pm in time for a shower before dinner. By way of background this was our first European driving holiday for some 40+ years so we were appreciative of your product and service. Our thanks especially to Keiran for his prompt and helpful replies to my email queries which helped our preparations. To drive the Stelvio Pass has for some time been on my 'bucket list' and having seen you advert in the MX-5 Owners Club magazine earlier this year provided the opportunity to cross it off - Canada and the Rockies next! Let me know if you plan any self drive tours there. Chris & Di Ellis - MX5 OC

Bob, Just a quick e-mail to say that our N Ireland tour was a great success.  The weather, in general, was very good and the only day we had a problem was when we went to Toor Head (for the views) but the visibility due to the fog was about 15 metres!!  The Ross park hotel was excellent and everyone in our party was very impressed with the hotel, food and standards of service.  In particular was the help they gave in organising taxis for 18 people to and from Ballymena train station when we all went to Belfast. finding train times etc Best wishes Malcolm Cutler, Classic Car Club

We just wanted to pass on to you what a great time we had on your trip to lake Garda. We returned late last night and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment, hotels and itinerary was great, we would definitely book with you again.Thank you Kind Regards Sean Leverton

Hi Bob, Re: Lake Garda & the Stelvio Pass, Excellent trip, looking at next years list now. I did fill in the questionair and you could always find fault if pushed, but value for money - unbeatable. Kind Regards Steve Gook

Hi Bob and Kieran, Lake Garda and Stelvio Pass Tour September 20th - 29th. We had a fabulous holiday on the above and we were very impressed with the pack we received which was very detailed.  We felt that the whole tour had been very very well sourced and organised with good hotels, food and service.A couple of suggestions for improvement we would have are: The directions would benefit from reference to the next town/village likely to be seen on road signs rather than just a road number at particular mileage details. All in all we felt that the holiday was absolutely superb and very good value for money.  We will certainly use Scenic Car Tours again. With kind regards. Phil and Alexis John

Good afternoon Kieran, Just a quick thank you for your organization of our recent trip to Italy. We had an enjoyable time, with good company. regards Steve Ettridge

Hi Kieran, Re: Champagne Rally - 19th to 21st October. On behalf of Doug and myself very many thanks for a great weekend again. Lucky with the weather.  We were doing quite well until some school boy errors on the map. Never mind that will all be corrected on the Beaujolais.!!  Thanks again to all that make these events possible. Great fun and more than anything great people. John Gearing

Dear Sirs, My wife and I and 2 friends booked a tour to Lake Garda through Scenic Car Tours, following an advertisement in your magazine. When you accept adverts, you will not always know how good a company is if things go wrong.  Unfortunately we had to cancel our holiday through ill health. As soon as I advised Scenic Car Tours, they advised exactly what our insurance company would need, and sent it immediately.  We were insured and got our money back promptly. As our friends were in a separate car, they were not covered by their insurance for cancellation, but preferred to go at a later date with us.  Scenic Car Tours volunteered to contact the ferry company and 5 different hotels to get our friends’ booking transferred to any of the new dates. No administration charges were made. Their Customer Service is as good as their itineraries look. Book with confidence! Yours faithfully, Peter C Cooper PCGB

Good Morning Kieran. Our Lake Como trip was a great success enjoyed by all . The roadbook was very useful and informative, the rally plaque fitted to car looks good and is a memorable keepsake. The Hotels you booked for us were fine, no  complaints at all.  Our only problem was not being enough days to enjoy all the trips you suggested. Total miles door to door  2644. no problems. Many many thanks to yourselves for organising this trip for us. A touring experience that we shall all remember. Once again Thank you and Regards John Egerton

Hi Kieran,  We have just returned from our European tour. Would I recommend Scenic to friends or use them again. The answer to that is a resounding yes. At least we knew that the standard of hotel, would be good and that parking would be available. Also it is of reassurance that, should things go terribly wrong, there is a phone number we can contact for help. Not something available if we went independent. As I said, all in all, it was a good trip. If you could just sort out the weather for next time, that would be brill. Hardly had the roof down for the last two weeks, which was disappointing :-) Not sure if we are doing the Silverstone event yet. Wallet still in recovery mode from the last four weeks. But if we do go, will be sure to look you up. Kind regards Richard Hall

Bob,  I want to thank you for arranging the wonderful tour that the T.I.T.S enjoyed in Northern Ireland. We saw all the sites from Ballygally to  the Downhill Desmenes and added in the Antrim Castle Gardens and Lough Neagh on our last morning. We had great hospitality, superb food, rather too much drink, in some cases and a lot of laughter. The perfect tour for us. I have tried to access your website as my wife and I would be interested in the Normandy Beaches tour in September, if we could go from Portsmouth overnight to Caen and defer the return by a few days to allow us to extend the trip. Let me know what the options ar and call me during business hours if that suits you better. Very best wishes and thanks to you and your colleagues for a superb route book and excellent value accommodation, Nick T.I.T.S Group

Dear Sir, I’ve just completed your Two Island Tour of the Channel Islands, booking reference 3690. I wish to thankyou for a very enjoyable experience. The choice of hotels was “Spot On” and the informal nature of the tour was a relief in that it suited our taste. The information provided and organisation was first class. Thankyou again from a very happy customer. Best Regards John A Couch

Dear Bob, Having just experienced your car rally to the Stelvio and Lake Garda Italy. (5th–15th Sept), I felt that I must write to you to thank you and your team at Scenic & Continental Car Tours for a wonderful 10 day experience. To anyone thinking of touring this area, I would highly recommend the package that Scenic & Continental Car Tours have produced. The organisation: The Rally Pack::Routes: Quality of the hotels and locations were ‘excellent value for money’. A statement continually made by ALL participants throughout the 10 days. My 1970 MGB Roadster covered 2,300 miles on the tour and despite packing a multitude of spares into the vehicle, thus leaving minimal room for our spare clothing etc , only required to replace the radiator cap.  A really fantastic tour, during which we made many new friends with the other participants and a holiday that both my colleague and I shall be sharing the experience of for some time yet. Once again. Many thanks to your team for the experience. Keep me on the mailing list for future events - Kind regards Richard Davis.

Hi Bob, Many thanks for your prompt response to my comments.   My wife and I would like to commend you for the excellent package of literature and also to say that the cost is excellent value for money plus the hotels were good quality. I am a member of the Essex TR Group (circa 100 members) so I will have no hesitation in telling them and recommending them to take this trip. I am also a member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club and you also advertise in their magazine. Several cars from the Jaguar Lincoln Group took this tour and a couple of months ago one of the participants wrote a favourable article in that magazine.  I knew Jonathan Bowles of the former Continental Car Tours and accompanied him on a trip to the Stelvio Pass about 20 years ago.  In fact one of my Essex friends bought a TR6 from Jonathan about 15 years ago and still runs it. Best wishes Roger D Mew

Bob and all at Scenic, We have now returned from our extended visit to Angouleme and would like to express our thanks to you for organising a very good trip.  Until we got to Angouleme we travelled separately but all travel arrangements went as planned.  My particular thanks go to Mike and Sue who, together with the manager at the Ibis Hotel, were able to very efficiently get me out of the embarrassing situation of my having left my 'armbands' for entry to the circuit, back in the UK!  I was quite prepared to buy new tickets but through their and your own support, the organisers happily produced two new 'armbands'.  An added 'plus' to this, on parking the car in a relatively deserted Angouleme on the Saturday at 9.00am, was  a type 35 Bugatti warming up on the public road as we walked to collect the armbands! Only in France. Please pass our thanks to Mike and Sue. We will be in touch again later. Kind regards. Malcolm

Hi Bob, Please thank all the staff for the wonderful Tuscany trip. The Hotel and surrounding area were excellent. Regards Glenys & Vaughan Rich

Hi Bob, Further to our recent trip to Northern Ireland on the Causeway Coastal Tour. One again it was excellent value for money, taking us to unfamiliar places, with good quality Hotels, stunning scenery and excellent driving roads. We look forward to meeting up with Scenic Team at the NEC Classic Show and making plans for next years Tours.  Thanks to everyone at Scenic for another most enjoyable Tour. Best Regards, Jim & Alyson

Dear Bob, further your company change details, CONGRATULATIONS !!! We have always been impressed by the sheer EFFORT your team have put into the company, & long may it continue.  In these difficult trading times, it is simply wonderful to see a business succeed and grow in a decidedly niche area;  every customer of yours we've met has been brimming over with praise --- even when the odd hiccup has arisen [as they will with this sort of activity] --- so Jenny & I look forward to more adventures at home & abroad with Bob, Kieran & their colleagues, whatever name is on their Tee Shirts. Very Best wishes Brian & Jenny Osborne

Hi James, Following my telephone call, this is just a "Big Thank You" to the team at Scenic Car Tours for a most enjoyable WW1 Battlefields Tour. The tour was well planned and there were no hitches with any part of it, infact we all thought that the Novotel in Ypres was a really good choice. It has a large underground car park which is ideal for the type of vehicles on the tour, while its central location made it ideal for going to the Menin Gate to listen to the "Last Post", and also for visiting the Flanders Museum.  On the Friday after our channel crossing we took the coast road to Ostend and spent most of the afternoon visiting and walking the "Atlantic Wall" to observe the German fortifications and defences, a remarkable site. Saturday we visited Messines ridge where our grandfather lost his life on July 27th 1917. We also went to Hill 62 to see the trenches, as well visiting the New Zealand, Irish and Sikh war memorials. Our last visit of the day was Tyne Cot Cemetry, a really sobering site, with 70% of the grave headstones having no name, just "A Soldier known only to God". Saturday evening we went to the 8.00pm "Last Post" ceremony, a really moving experience. Sunday morning we walked round the walls of Ypres and visited a beautiful small war graves cemetry in the town. Sunday afternoon we drove to the small cemetry just outside Ypres where our grandfather is buried. (He passed away on July 27th 1917 after being injured in the third battle of Ypres). Our late father never had the opportunity to visit the grave, so it was wonderful that at long last his blood relatives (Philip and myself) finally in the 100th Anniversary Year achieved this.  Monday morning after breakfast the Novotel upon our checking out allowed us to leave the cars in their underground car park so that we could visit the wonderful Flanders Museum in the central square. I am pleased to report that both vehicles drove impeccably and we did not even have to lift either bonnet during the tour. To sum up a really enjoyable and at sometimes emotional tour, well planned with a good hotel. We would like to make this trip again in either 2017 or 2018, so would you consider running it at around the same time in 2018, so that the closure of this terrible event can be marked?  My best regards, and thanks for making such a trip possible. David Allman
